Hours of Service
NSWMA filed comments with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on its "reproposal" of the current hours of service requirements. NSWMA urged FMCSA to keep the new requirements and expressed support in particular for the 34-hour restart rule and the FMCSA's comments about local routes. FMCSA reissued the hours of servie regulations with additional supporting material.
EIA is the trade association that represents the private sector solid waste and recycling industry through its two sub-associations, the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA) and the Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC).
