Healthcare Waste Institute
Mission
Our mission is to facilitate responsible
healthcare waste management from all
types of generators; to be the resource
network for technical and regulatory assistance;
and to be respected as a proactive,
responsive and credible organization. Our activities include:
- The ability to deal with company-specific
and industry-wide issues with the support
of others in the industry and institute staff.
- Educating legislators and regulators on key
concerns and industry operations.
- Facilitating relationships with the generator
community.
- Providing educational programs especially
critical to companies that do not have fulltime
employees tasked to monitor regulations,
legislation and new technologies.
