WASTEC is the only trade association that represents manufacturers, distributors, technology and business services companies that supply equipment, technology and systems to the waste industry. Here are a few of the many services WASTEC provides its members:

• Promotion - The Waste Industry Marketplace allows customers from all over the world to find you anytime to learn more about your equipment and the services your company provides.. Ad space is available in these as well as several of our e-newsletters. Our "Environmentalists. Every Day." program was created to promote the solid waste industry at large as well as our individual members by highlighting the work you do every day.

• Savings – As a WASTEC member exhibiting at WasteExpo you'll participate in our Dues Contribution Program (DCP). You’ll receive a discount on your booth space and have a portion of your dues paid based on your exhibit space square footage. For many companies, that means membership is FREE! Members also receive discounts on WasteExpo admission, NSWMA-WASTEC events and our library of publications. Members have access to our Endorsed Business Solutions, chosen to save you money as well as serve your needs for insurance, credit card processing and more.

• Standards and Statistics – WASTEC is the Secretariat for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Accredited Standards Committee Z245 on equipment technology and operations for wastes and recyclable materials.  The committee develops the requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, modification and use of waste and recycling equipment. WASTEC members are encouraged to participate in the industry market statistics programs to enable you to better gauge market penetration and competition.  Detailed reports are given to participating members and there is a data sharing program with quarterly market statistics.

• Networking - You’ll have access to members of the National Solid Wastes Management Association as well as members of WASTEC at NSWMA Chapter Meetings, WASTEC’s Annual Conference, the Executive Roundtable Conference and WasteExpo.  Our Councils and Institutes provide additional forums to discuss important issues and serve the association.

• Information – Our WASTEC staff can answer your questions regarding standards, equipment and regulatory issues.  Our legal counsel can assist members and their lawyers on business and legal issues.  Our monthly e-news and library of publications provide a steady stream of information to keep you updated.
